Q: How long do the tryouts last?
A: Generally speaking the tryouts will last approximately two hours.

Q: What are the eligibility requirements?
A: The open tryout is for all athletes, age 18 or older. Participants registered with any other IWFL football teams must show release.

Q: What should I wear?
A: The tryouts will be held on a grass field. It is suggested that athletes wear shorts, t-shirt and grass cleats. No equipment will be provided.

Q: Why is there a tryout fee? ($50.00)
A: A fee is charged to help the Fuel cover the cost of the tryout camps, including field rental, trainers, registration workers, timers, etc.

Q: Do I need previous experience?
A: No. The Coaching staff will teach all players complete football skills, starting with the basics.

Q: What is the tryout format?
A: Various individual and team non-contact drills by position.

Q: If I tryout am I guaranteed a spot on the Fuel roster?
A: You are competing for a spot on the Fuel's pre-season roster. If qualified, you will be invited to training camp in January.

Q: Are there any positions in particular that you is looking to fill?
A: The Louisiana Fuel are currently seeking players at every position.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Prospective players must be a minimum of 18-years-of-age to participate with proof of insurance.

Q: When does the season start, and how many games do you play?  The season consists of 8 regular season games held on Saturdays. The 2010 schedule will be posted on the website once it is officially released.
